Catch Me If You Can! - *NEW SYSTEM*

Before I lay out the details of the Catch Me If You Can System, I'd like to make a few opening remarks.   That way you can get a feel for where I'm coming from, and where I hope this idea will go.

First of all, this is my first post.   I've been around for several months on this forum reading, studying, testing and generally trying out most of the posted systems here.

As great as many of these systems are, they all seem to be based on some form of binary pattern betting (i. e.  penultimate, etc. ).

One thing I have not seen very much here is the concept of using the randomness of the roulette wheel against the roulette table itself.   After all, that's exactly what the game of roulette is doing to us, isn't it?  We map out a system based on some kind of pattern, and then watch the roulette wheel's brutal randomness chop our systems to little bits.

The problem with this kind of betting, I believe, is that we are trying to devise systems based on patterns provided by the game itself (i. e.  rrb, sleepers, hot numbers, etc. ), rather than provided by ourselves .

From some of my games and tests, and particularly from comments and ideas gleaned from this board, the idea that began to shape in my mind about randomness was this - what is it that the roulette wheel would have a very hard time duplicating?

After a lot of thought, I concluded that there are some things I will probably never see in the game of roulette.   Here they are:

   (1)  I will never see all 36 numbers come up in 37 spins of the wheel.   I may see something like  25 or even 30, but never all 36.

   (2)  I will never see the roulette wheel spit out all 36 numbers in their consecutive sequence.

   (3)  I will never see all 36 numbers show in consecutive sequence while I am playing only 36 spins.
         (i. e. , on my first spin a 1 shows; then on my second spin a 2 shows, etc. , etc. , all the way to spin 36 showing  a 36)

Therefore, based on these 3 rather safe assumptions, I engineered a betting system that covers the entire table except for 1 (or 2) numbers.

My philosophy is this:  I create very small parameters in which the roulette wheel is allowed to operate (i. e. , only 1 or 2 open numbers per bet).   Not only that, but I follow a basic but ordered structure in which those parameters may be contained.   Then I give the roulette wheel a very short time frame in which it  must hunt down the open numbers.   Every time it fails to show the proper number in the proper sequence, it pays me 1 unit.

I'm really not trying to be a brainiac or anything. . .  I just think the roulette wheel would have a very hard time hitting, say, number 15 exactly on spin number 15 - which would be the only time that number would be open.   I reasoned that this would be a safer way to play, as opposed to just choosing a random number to avoid while playing everything else.

Obviously there may be smarter and easier ways to lay out the betting sequences, and I welcome anyone to make a better betting layout other than the 35 unit bet that I've outlined below.

A couple more quick notes before I post the system:

This system was designed with the No-Zero Roulette wheel in mind.   I did modify it for the Single-Zero wheel, and posted it as well, but I don't think that is as effective.

My hope is that we can work together to use a regimented, unforgiving order to "punish" the roulette wheel for being so random!

I am outlining both the original system (for the no-zero wheel) and the modified system below it (for the single-zero wheel).   As you can see, the idea is quite simple.   Just cover the wheel and leave open 1 (or 2) numbers per spin.   Because each open number is different depending on what spin you are at, I've mapped out how to isolate the numbers.

It looks daunting at first glance, but once you see how simple it is, you won't need the chart at all, you'll just know how to isolate the proper number using $35.

The main drawback, as you will see, is changing the isolated number for each bet - but hey, it pays $1 each time, and you shouldn't lose too much.

Catch Me If You Can...

* Designed for Flat Betting.   One Option you may decide on is to double the entire bet after 1 loss for 12 spins.

* Bet Layout for Bets 1 through 36 (each bet is $35, payout is $1 profit per bet).

Ughh.   My apologies to Jish, who coined the system name back in Feb.   I wasn't paying attention.   Sorry about that.  :-[

What happen when randomness hit you, lets say on your third spins, you lose 30+ units right???

Hello nullified, and welcome to the forum.

What is your suggestion for selecting & changing the isolated numbers?

Without a bet selection method all we have here is a betting plan.

Seeing as you have gone to the trouble of posting the staking combinations, you must have some ideas about how to select your exclusions?

Cheers.

Mike

It looks to me as though the sequence he has laid out is itself the bet selection. In other words on spin 1 you bet that number 1 won't hit, on spin 2 you bet that number 2 won't hit, on spin 3 you bet that number 3 won't hit, etc etc...

The premise being that it's unlikely that you will get consecutive numbers following each other for a full cycle of spins. Correct, but you're forgetting that each sequence is as likely as any other.

It's a bit like picking lotto numbers OTHER than 1,2,3,4,5,6 on the assumption that the sequence doesn't look "random", so you assume that it's less likely to come up, but in fact it has exactly the same chance as any other combination of 6 numbers.

My first question is: Have you ever played this system yourself and if so, how many spins have you played?

The reason I asked is because I have tracked many, many spins over the years and labeling each number starting at #1 and continued #2,#3,#4,#5 etc.  All the way to #36.  The thing I discovered was that "usually" at least one number duplicated the spin number I was on.  Such as when I got to spin #26, it was #26 on the wheel.

This being said, you also have to remember that the Zero comes up on average of once every 17 spins.  so I really don't see where the profit is.

Your idea of playing random against itself has some validity but I think you would have to play this method as a hit-and-run system.  Further discussion will be great.

It looks to me as though the sequence he has laid out is itself the bet selection. In other words on spin 1 you bet that number 1 won't hit, on spin 2 you bet that number 2 won't hit, on spin 3 you bet that number 3 won't hit, etc etc...

The premise being that it's unlikely that you will get consecutive numbers following each other for a full cycle of spins...

Very pedestrian, and if it works it won't work. Meaning that for the premise to carry itself out you need many lost bets in order to complete the proposed premise.

Example:
Bet 1 exclude 1, 1 hit, now 2 will never hit, bet 2 exclude 2, damn 2 hit, now 3 will never hit, bet 3 exclude 3, DAMN 3 hit, now 4 will never hit, bet 4 exclude 4, HOLY SHIT 4 hit, and so on until you actually win 1 unit.

There needs to be a better way.

Hello,

Thank you for your efforts, trying to think "outside the box".   We need more of that.
But!  To say that if one bets 35 out of 37 numbers,  he will never  lose 37 times in a row does not bring anything to provide a winning method.
You could easily (and probably will) lose twice in 37 spins.

This system is based on the rare occurrence concept. You will find that in the long run you will lose at approximately the statistical average using it. You can reverse it too. You can just bet on #1 on the first spin, #2 on the second spin, #3 only on the third spin. You can double down every 35 completed spins until you have your 35 down to 1 winner.

This system needs to be programmed and reported. I've already researched the very rare pattern with a four step progression. It loses at the expected rate, even though the conditions are very rare.

Now consider this. What about a bet on 35 numbers to win 1 unit only once in a while. Make it part of a stack of different typed bets. What if you randomly use a martingale one time, a flat bet on 11 out of 12 streets, and several different tactics etc... all stacked together in a unique and one time random order. You just stack up a random trial. I've proven that zeros sleep at times. That means two other numbers sleep too at times. Randomness recognition can be any type of form that you want to apply your intellect too. But that takes brain power and work.

What fresh nonsense is this? zero sleeping means it's sleeping, nothing else.

ALL numbers sleep at times, if you don't know why then all you have is the normal distribution, and you can't bank on that.

I have proven that you can bank on it. But it was just an experiment. On it's own it was never enough to break the house's edge. In fact it would be mathematically impossible to break the house's edge with it. What has not been researched is hunting for any two sleeping numbers and utilizing the logical actions to mitigate the effect of the house's edge. Yet, this would not be impossible for a computer simulation, just a little more difficult.

Just because you see all this as fresh nonsense does not make it any less relevant. It's really far better to really know something than it is to speculate or to improvise a discussion.

I certainly appreciate the thoughts and comments about this system.

Yes, I have played this system for real.   Although it took me about 45 minutes, I recently turned my $50 into
over $100, which is almost $1 per minute.   In that time I had two losses during the sessions (which set me back -$35 each time).   Other than those losses, it was very consistent.

What I personally don't like about it is the setting up of the bets.   I don't need the charts or anything, since
after playing it for 9 or 10 spins anyone can easily figure out that $12 goes on 2 of the Dozens, a Six Street is $6, a single Street is $3 and then you have $2 on any splits and of course $1 on the 0 and any other single needed (obviously, not every bet will use the same configuration, but you will be betting $35 per bet).

That's only 14 or 15 chips to layout per bet, which really isn't that bad.   But I'm just as impatient as the next guy, and
I find that setting up a new configuration 36 different times per session is a bit annoying.

After making it over $100 on this particular morning, I was done (about $55 profit).

Doubling-up once after a loss is intended to recoup your losses, but you have to be "lucky" enough not to have another loss during your double-up phase.

The reason I posted this under the new systems area is because the money management portion of the "system" is to double - up your entire bet (read, 70 chips after a loss) and then continue isolating the numbers in sequential order as if nothing happened.   Doubling up will not get your money back until you bet at least half the number of times as you did when you bet $35 per bet.

Let me explain.

Let's say you had been winning all along until bet #17.   On bet #17 the number 17 came up and I lost.   I've won $16 in bets so far, but now I've just lost $35, so overall I'm down -$19.   Now, I double up my bets.   I bet $70 per bet, making a $2 profit per bet for the next 10 spins.   This wins me back my lost $19.

Now, on spin #28 of 36, I go back to the last level and drop back down to $35 per bet for the remaining 9 bets in this session.

The reason the Double-Up Phase is 10 spins is because that is what it will take to get this back to a winning session.   If I lose later on in the session, say on bet #28, my overall loss will only be -$7 (35-28), so in this case I would only need to Double-Up for 4 spins (for an $8 profit) to put this session back in the black.

If you lose earlier on in the session, say on bet #6, you would then be down $30, and would need 16 spins in the Double-Up Phase to get back to a profit for the session.

Personally I've only ever had to double up a handful of times, and I've always been fortunate enough never to have another loss while in a Double-Up Recoup Phase.   But I understand that this too is an inevitability, and I would probably take the loss at this point, rather than attempt to continue to Double-Up after losses.

Hope that clears some things up.
