Well its Finally Over.

I passed the Hospital Admission tests today.

Its Now Official They Will Operate on Me at Or after 8.am on 29th April.

We will know more the day before the Operation when we ring for an admission Time.

We will certainly Keep you all informed on that day.

Well there has been a setback.

The Hospital contacted me 3 days ago and told me my tests showed a blow out in my sugar and that my white blood cells were too high meaning that I have an infection somewhere.

They thought it was either in the Lungs or the Bladder.

The last 3 days I have had a Urine test and 3 Blood tests.

Last night at the Dr's they told me I am now a Diabetic & I have an infection in the Lungs.
I had 3 breath tests that has got them baffled as to why I am not in Hospital now being treated for that.
However I was allowed to come home with My Medication being updated.

This Dr. is determined to do everything in Her power to get me treated so that the operation goes ahead on the 29th.

I have to go back Monday & She is personally going to talk to the Diabetes Specialist.
She is a very good DR. and She told me that the Hospital I was going to for the operation is one of the Best.
And That My surgeon is is a great Surgeon who She knows personally because she teaches advanced students at that Hospital.

So Please Pray that I get better and that the operation goes ahead on the 29th.

Hi Forum

Well since the 14th we have been to that many Dr's & Hospitals that we have lost count.

I am now Officially a Diabetic and I still have a Lung infection.

We went to 2 Dr's today & they spoke to another 2. Plus we went to a Hospital.

So what They have agreed on with the Surgeon is this.

They will admit me to the Hospital a day earlier on the 28th to monitor Me.

If all goes well they will operate on the 29th.

If not then the Operation will be postponed to a later Date.

Well this is the last post that I will do until after the operation if it goes ahead.

Tomorrow is Monday I get admitted for observation.
If all goes well Monday Then They will operate on me on Tuesday 29th April.

As soon as a Result is known.
My Wife will Ring Chuck=LeBear who will post that result Good-or Bad.

If the operation goes as expected I should be home in 5 Days.
If not then 15 Days.

If It Goes Arse up then Goodbye.

My Wife & I want to thank You All for everything.
You have all been great and have enriched our Lives.

There are 2 People in particular that I want to thank that you the Forum may no know what these Great People were willing to do for Me.

Chuck Is a pretty Tall guy 6ft- 6inches I think.

And when He found out about the short vein that I have that could cause problems.
He wanted to go and have an operation an have that same vein taken from His leg then Frozen or Iced & sent to Australia so that it could be transplanted into the vein in My leg.

That is beyond the call of Duty as a Mate.
That was is & always will be a Highlight of how strong a Mateship can be. Its absolutely out of this world to even think about it let alone offer to do it for someone else who he has only known for 6 months.

One thing I do know is that If I die In will die knowing that I have Met the best person that GOD ever put breath into besides His Son Jesus.
