Hi Mates,
   Just a quick update.  I just spoke with Nancy and Lionel is now home and resting.  He is going to have to take it easy for a quite a while which is to be expected.  At this point it time his body seems to be accepting all the new hardware they just stuffed in him so that is good.  I don't think he is going to be up to posting for a while but you never know. I spoke with Lionel this morning before he left the hospital, and he is still in good spirits, and said to tell everyone thanks for there prayers and support for both him and Nancy.

I will personally go into all your posts and put a thank you Note there for each of you as I get stronger.

Thank You All Very Much For Everything Each & Everyone Of You Did With Prayers Etc.

The Operation appears to have gone well & I am healing good.

Addonia a s always is answering all My Questions as The Recovery continues.

What they said & told My Wife & the Effect it could have had on My Family on the the day of The Operation was nothing short of disgusting.

At 10 Am they contacted My Wife & Told Her that the Operation was Over the Stents Had been put in and that all went well & I was now in Recovery.

My Family were dancing with tn the street with tears of Joy.

[highlight]This was total Bullshit I had not even been operated on at this Time.[/highlight]

At 12 noon when My wife comes looking for me they tell my Wife that there had been a mistake with the previous information and that As of this minute I ha only been Operated on and had just been taken to recovery.

[highlight]This to was total Bullshit as well as I still had not been Operated on.[/highlight]

At 2pm when my Wife came looking for me They again told her there had been a mistake with previous information. And that I had Just been operated on & was now in recovery.

At this point My Wife Lost it as a Lady and was ready to take on King Kong if Necessary to get to the truant she explained in good old Aussie Terms what had happened since 10 am that Morning.
She put in a way that left no doubts in anybody"s minds that if you were female you were about to have a visit to the Dentist who would have to work backwards from your Arse hole to repair your Teeth
and thats only after your Friends had helped find an Eye or two that had been scratched out in the fight that was about to erupt.
And that if You were Male then You better put special markings on whatever Balls you had now.
So that you could identify them later after she had gleefully shot them out.
That is if the cat had not got them 1st.

By Now she had their Attention.

They then showed My Wife the Nurse who has to stay with me for 8 hrs after I come back to the Ward.
That Nurse was now setting up her Table.
She can only look after me she cant look after anyone else just me only.

She take pity on My wife & says she will ring when she knows something.

At 3 .55 pm the nurse rings and says I will be back at 4pm

What happened was that the Sister told the nurse I would be back at 5.

The Nurse mistook that for will be back in 5 minutes.

So once again more miss information has been given to my Wife.

After 5pm I finally show up........10 hours after they came to Operate on me in the morning.

So You Can see what an Ordeal this has been for My Family Especially My Wife.

I don't know what bits they put in or took out but they certainly left you with your sense of humour.
Sorry about the messing about they did with with the news they kept giving Nancy but we know that you're not too far away from being your normal self after reading your post.

Hi Forum

I went to the Surgeon today.

The Surgeon was happy with the progress.
He did 2 ankle pressure tests Like they do with blood pressure tests on your arm.

Then an ultrasound that showed the right side full of Fluid .
That's the reason for the real big Blood Clot.
He said the Blood clot could take between 3 to 6 months to go and that hopefully it would do so the normal way or otherwise it could come out through the skin & then that could be a real nuisance.

Then He said that It would take between 3-6 months to see if the Butt pain would disappear and to see if I would walk normally again.

He said the numbness on the inside of my thighs is a direct result of the nerve ends there that did not take too kindly to being disturbed but they are now settling down again.

He has made an appointment for me to have an x-ray & a Catscan in 2 weeks at the local Hospital.

Time and patience mate . you will recover at all , the pain will disappear and the presurre will turn normal  and never you will need more operations in your life . only revisions every time . so you must think that you are very  excellent now and give time to time my dear .
