This forum is not what it has been.
It sucks that we finally become Gamblers Glen and now move a step beyond that.

Yes we have moderators that starts topics to pick fights with selected members.
Delete posts when you only are allowed to remove posts.
Well the list can be long.

Then we have the new functions with new sections on this forum "no-Sayers".
It does not exist so that section is just an illusion.
Because you have to allow some on to say stop and no to members ho dream about quit work 9 to 5 and pay bills with roulette money.

Now it has gone so far that we will allow thread owner - lol - is that a mistake or what?
Now any one can make a post and if i don't like your reply or you as a member i just remove what you have to say.
I don't want to guess what that will end up.

Cheers Lucky Strike

I agree. Moderators are supposed to be impartial, and not pursue their own agenda or delete others posts without good reason. I don't know how the self-moderating will go, my feeling is that there will be more new threads. People won't want to criticize because they think their posts will be deleted as "disruptive", so they will go and start a separate thread to do the "disrupting" there. Then if anyone starts to "disrupt" their "disrupting" thread they will delete the posts and this will start a chain reaction. Before we know it the forum will explode.  ;D

Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration but you know what I mean. We'll see how it goes.

QuoteBefore we know it the forum will explode.

I agree :pleasantry:

This will all settle down for the better, because most people will soon get tired of posting replies in threads whose owners constantly remove them. It certainly won't take long to see who is talking to themselves.

I'm sure common sense will prevail.

QuoteI'm sure common sense will prevail.

I hope so but I don't think so - it will not be okay - there will be no justice or common sense.

Making judgements, without supporting evidence, is hardly a good way to usher in the New Age!

Let's wait'n'see.

Expect the worst, hope for the best -- and end up pleasantly surprised.  :)

Bombus made a good point.

Let's face it -- things couldn't continue as they were without some remedial steps being taken.

Steps have been taken.

Now let's give it some time.

QuoteMaking judgements, without supporting evidence, is hardly a good way to usher in the New Age!

Take a quick look at the forum and the behavior.

That sounds okay but the fundamental core is still there and you or Victor can't change that.
Its wrong from the beginning and it will end up wrong.
That's is simple logic.

Any one do what he feels like and don't have to follow any rules to which one to allow and not allow to post hes comments.
There is no justice or common sense to it.

HHahhaahhahaha@ Bombus.

That did that old Heart of Mine good Cobber.....Lmao.

Good OnYa Mate.

Lanky.

Now lets assume I did not like Bombus and Lankys replys then I can remove them because I don't have to follow any rules.
And I can manipulate my thread to go in any direction I want.

I think it is sad what new members will read and there is no one around to save them from lies and manipulated worlds of dreams about quit work from 9 to 5 and pay bills with roulette money.

It sucks big time.

Where will all the good members go.
They know when to say good and no that will not work.

Balance is important and we have to have both sides of the coin if this forum is going to work.

It is difficult to know how this forum will develop in the future.

I suppose we all have different ideas as to what should take place in this forum.

My personal preference is for a forum devoted to serious testing of systems with ratings. Push the boundaries of testing, as far as they
will go.

As far as I can see this forum has become like a sort of market place, where people have set out their stalls and there is little progress
made in developing systems of real substance.

Gamblers Glen is at an all time low and is simply a place to exchange insults. If the forum heads in that direction, then it will be time for
us who want to develop roulette systems to part company and create a private forum, for like minded people. I receive emails from people
who seriously want to ask about roulette systems and discuss various aspects of them, but they don't want to post on a forum!

I did leave this forum at the beginning of this year and have no plans to leave at the present time, but as I have said before, if this ship
(forum) heads for the rocks of absurdity and nonsense, then abandon ship will be the only option for good.

Yes that is a good point.
But that is old news and that is just a part of the bigger picture.

Cheers Lucky Strike.

MATTJONO

Just for the point. I will most Certanly not be deleting any critisism to my system threads, unless ofcourse the message is over the top with all the unessasy words and arguing from others.

MATTJONO if we could apply that mind to all members then we would have a perfect forum, it will not happen.

Lucky I agree with you, but you can see who has deleted your or someone elses message on there thread. Then its there loss if you do not reply to that person again or give them any help.
It will just take that person longer and longer to learn from other peoples mistakes, which means they will lose more and more money.
And for new members looking to play roulette they have everything on this forum they need, even the sexy ladies.  :girl_wacko:

Phishalot

I was not able to reed the board for a few months and just recently have become active again. Before when someone posted a method or system most comments where how to make it better.

I personaly would like to see no post or comment ever get deleted. I think it is a big help to have many points of views, in the presut of winning roullett play.
