Hi lads
Awhile back, and in heated debate a member an I where discussing advantage  play.

He maintained that AP was cheating,I said cheating is stealing chips off the table!!! :rtfm:

OR past posting,

IE, placing bets on after the result. :nono:

So here's a link that should help clear matters up

Re: Chi 67 PLUS
September 20, 2009, 05:14:51 AM
Ok Lads,,,sorry for the wait but think it was a prob with the forum

if you run this data through RX or similar youll see the chi-square whent to nearly 70 (CASINO INDUSTRY NORM is 50-55,above this they beleive the wheel has turned bias and can lead to advantage players to take advantage of the abnormalitys of the wheel) and I took full advantage betting only 1% of my BR.

Again I draw your attention to #s 19 6 34   ,,,also street 4-6(ALTHOUGH THATS COINCIDENCE IT STILL PAID OFF)

Chi as it stands at ATM is 58 plus

Hey ,would you know that wednesday i walked down the steps for my usuall dose bias play and SHOCK    HORROR  THERE was a technician there :swoon:

I wnet strait for the jugular,,,,do you speak english I asked him,,,, a little he replied,,,, what you doing to the machine I asked him,,,a service maintenence

No he repied. PHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew man was i releived ,,,6 months work could have been rendered useless,,,,,,, a new program was being installed as old one had proven to have a flaw in and ppl where taking advantage and costing the poor casino profits(NOW WE DONT WANT THAT ;;;DO WE??????)

Sorry lads he tried to explain how they where doing it but his english really wasnt that good ,,,,,,but he had to wait for a part to be delivered by express post so we had a chat over some strong Polish coffee.

I asked him to explain to one member of staff what i was doing writing down the spin results,,,,,(told him i was playing hot numbers,,,,,,,and one casino staaf member actually snatched pen out of my hand one day and boy did i protest so i wanted to clear things up)

We had quite an interesting chat and nearly ended up telling the tech man what I was all about(he did nt work direct for casino and was clrearly unhappy at his job)

I told him that I run stats through my computer program and next day I bet acordingly to the info

Then I semi joked with him and asked if he had checked the data to see wheel was ok,,,,,he said it was not in his job sheet and laughed and said that ok maybe the numbers will stay HOT for a month max and wheel would even out and other numbers would take the lead

I said what about this info i got now ,,,,,,,,,mmmmmmmm he said ok then ill look for you

I AINT JOKING YOU   WE BOTH WALKED UP TO THE MONITER AND HE HIT THE BUTON ON HIS LAPTOP 8(casino is a joke 12 slots and and a six seeter touch bet)

VERY CASUAL I LOOKED AND COULD SEE THE WORD HISTORIA ,,,,,,,,IT DID NT TAKE MUCH FOR ME TO WORK OUT WHAT THAT MENT

LOL he said sorry but data has been wiped out by new program,no spin data shit

and I leaned this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no data is sent to main casino HQ or direct to the casino staff,,,he said if machine really has a bias it turns off and recalobrates

mmmmmmmmthis day i had 67 chi and it did not turn itself off,,,,,fully auotmatic he said

then just let sleeping dogs lye,,,,,,as my old dad says ,,,,if its nae brokin sun then dinae try ta fix it :haha:

thank the patron saint of roulette for ignorance

i now will share the where abouts of the wheel with a member here at the forum

yes it for you trybolit you know where it is and good luck to you

look forward to meeting you in Poland  xxxxxxxxxxx

all the best lads

Bruce! Good to hear from you.

Interesting story mate, thanks for sharing it.

Lol, It's great how casino personnel and people who work for them often don't have a clue as far as advantage play is concerned. :haha:

I have definitely noticed the same.

All the best to you my friend.

Great for sharing dear Bruce.  :good:

It's great how casino personnel and people who work for them often don't have a clue as far as advantage play is concerned.

That is directly proportional to:

1) Does the location depends heavily on gambling revenue?
(At Vegas and other gambling-dependent locations one might expect more awareness regarding advantage play from the staff).

2) Is the device profitable?
As long as they are earning enough profit from a defective device I guess they won't bother replacing it. I've seen casinos WITHOUT any marquee and no data collection from members of the staff. They just spin that wheel and as long as they make money with it, the device is assumed to be good.

It is also a big help when the overwhelming majority of casino personally believe that the game is completely random. Sometimes dealers will offer you "Friendly" advice. I don't think they are trying to thwart you, it's just the advice is rather ridiculous because they are rather uneducated despite how involved in the game they are. I once was told by a former dealer that the only way to win roulette was by playing a martingale on sleepers. The funny thing is, this advice is all based on the assumption that the game is a totally random event. Last night I was at a local casino. I was playing a 3 pocket sector with a biased number, betting 1 number and 2 streets. If I could have just bet the one number I would have. But then it would have been too obvious what I was doing, taking advantage of a temporary bias. Anyway, a friend playing the same table was just playing 3 numbers himself only he was playing them each straight up. It was just the two of us playing the table at the time and then she started to give my friend a hard time for only playing 3 numbers. Saying things like "I've been around this game a long time." and "You never win that way. The only to win is by covering most of the numbers." I wanted badly to make a side bet that I could win just by playing 1 number, but knew better. This lady didn't understand that we weren't trying to win every spin, but 1 in 10 or so. And it didn't matter how many numbers or how few numbers we played there was still a house edge against us. Although we had a temporary edge over the house (based on a condition at the tim) and won that night and the previous nights she was still sure that my friend was, and I quote "Burning your money". All I can say is God Bless the skeptics in the gaming industry. Even if we outright told them what we were doing I think a good number would simply see us as just another hopeful who thinks he's found the next big thing.
